Founded in 1928, the Future Farmers of America (FFA) develops, through practical experience, leadership abilities among young people preparing for careers in agriculture and agribusiness. FFA provides training programs for agricultural students in high school. It also publishes the bimonthly National Future Farmer Magazine from its Alexandria, VA, headquarters. Total membership exceeds 400,000, with nearly 8,000 local groups.
