The four contemporary stamp designs for Christmas 1992 feature antique toys. The designs--which feature a pony and rider, a locomotive, a fire pumper, and a steamship--also incorporate security printing. A 390-line screen vignette appears as very fine microscopic lines in a specific location on each stamp: between two spokes on wheels of the pony, locomotive, and fire pumper; and, in the window of the steamship. The year "1992" is visible only with a magnifying glass. Metallic green ink, which blackens when photocopied or scanned during color separation process, was used to print the "29 USA."
