The Bureau of Engraving and Printing produced this special souvenir sheet, issued to honor the Trans-Mississippi Philatelic Exposition and Convention at Omaha, NE. Stamps on the sheet are the 1-cent Yosemite design of the National Parks series. The sheet was gummed, and the stamps are without perforation. The inscription reads: "PRINTED BY THE TREASURY DEPARTMENT, BUREAU OF ENGRAVING AND PRINTING--UNDER AUTHORITY OF JAMES A. FARLEY, POSTMASTER GENERAL--IN COMPLIMENT TO THE TRANS -MISSISSIPPI PHILATELIC EXPOSITION AND CONVENTION--OMAHA, NEBRASKA, OCTOBER 1934."
