The comedy team of Abbott and Costello performed from 1931-1957 to audiences of film, radio, stage, television, and vaudeville. Bud Abbott was the straight man, and Lou Costello the comedian. The team made 35 films between 1941-1956. Among them were Buck Privates, Jack and the Bean Stalk, and Abbott and Costello in Hollywood. Their best-known single routine was the "Who's on First" dialogue, which now is inscribed on a plaque in the Baseball Hall of Fame at Cooperstown, NY.
